Abstract

The article is devoted to the description of a heat supply system in Tyumen and problem areas located outside the radius of effective operation of existing heating plants. The heat supply system using heat pumps is proposed (the main pipeline for transferring low potential heat is supposed to be laid from a thermal power station as a turbine cooling system which dumps waste into the river Tura at present), and indicators of its economic efficiency have been calculated. The proposed solution was compared with other variants of heat supply in the areas in question (preservation of existing CHP zones, reconstruction of heating systems and laying new pipelines and pumping stations; the construction of a third source - a gas turbine thermal power plant in the north-western part of the city; construction of the western thermal complex in the circuit of a thermal power plant).
