Abstract
It is noted that methods for choosing the composition of refractories and structural concretes differ significantly. In choosing refractory concrete composition physicochemical processes occurring during hardening and sintering should be considered. It is established that the most complete requirements are satisfied by concretes based on high-alumina cement and corundum filler.
