Abstract
This chapter begins with some introductory comments on the elements of heat pump modeling and simulation. The major portion of the chapter then deals with specific details of steady state modeling and simulation; a brief discussion of transient modeling is also presented. Finally, the chapter concludes with a section on heat pump design.
