Abstract

The thermal diffusivity of several samples of Nd 0.67Sr 0.33MnO 3−δ was investigated in the temperature range 35 K < T < 350 K and is correlated with magnetization, resistivity and thermopower data. We find an anomaly of the heat diffusivity D T near 100 K which we attribute to a temperature-induced canted metal-afm insulator transition, a second anomaly in D T( T) and a sign change in S( T) near 350 K which we assign to the transition to paramagnetism.
