Abstract

Heat capacity measurements of BaThO 3 and BaCeO 3 were carried out using differential scanning calorimetry in the temperature range 320–820 K. From the heat capacity values of BaThO 3 and BaCeO 3, other thermodynamic functions such as enthalpy increments, entropies and Gibbs energy functions of these compounds were derived.
