Abstract

The heat capacities of cesium and rubidium chromates have been measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) in the temperature range 350–780 K. These values have been combined with measured and estimated values for the standard entropy and enthalpy of formation for Cs 2CrO 4 and Rb 2CrO 4 to obtain thermodynamic functions to 800 K.
