Abstract

The prevalence of hearing organ injuries among children and adolescents in modern conditions due to the variety of adverse factors, resulting in hearing loss. In turn, available to deaf children psycho-neurological changes, low cognitive activity determine the feasibility of studying the neurophysiological bases of brain dysfunctions. Cerebral Palsy is a complex disease of the central nervous system, leading not only to the movement disorders, but also to complications like hearing loss, which in turn affects the second delay in speech and mental development. The review reveals a modern view on the underlying mechanisms of hearing loss in children with cerebral palsy.
