Abstract
One of the crucial roles of the College of Health is to disseminate health education and information to the public. An investigation into Tel‐Med, a US service through which some 350 tapes on a variety of health and medical topics are instantly available via the ordinary telephone service, is described. The experience of the College of Health in launching a similar service in Britain called Healthline is reported and discussed.
