Abstract

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to educate human resources professionals on employee wellness.Design/methodology/approachThe approach was to outline statistics from various studies, including one from the author’s company, Copatient, to outline the issues with employee education and ultimately employee wellness.FindingsEach of the surveys helped to illustrate the issues with employee education or lack there of.Originality/valueThe article brought in data and statistics from various reliable sources, which allowed the author to perfectly illustrate his message: there are not enough resources out there for employees to be educated on their wellness and benefits, and that needs to change.
