Abstract

The article discusses the suffering caused by the Australian government's policy of using immigrant and refugees detention centers on Nauru and Manus Island in Papua New Guinea, including its relationship with public health in Australia. An overview of the social movements involved in advocating for improved treatment of immigrants is provided.
