Abstract

Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) has a great negative effect on patients' quality of life with a high incidence rate. This paper aims to review the health management in KOA patients and high-risk population from the perspective of nursing care, and to explore related strategies regarding the cooperation of the community, hospital nurses and families. Nurses should have different health management interventions tailored for diverse populations (e.g. healthy people, high-risk groups, and patients) to improve the knee health in the community and KOA rehabilitation in patients through health education and health promotion.
