Abstract

This study was concerned with the implementation of health curriculum in schools and the effect of policy upon the implementation of the health education syllabus. The objectives of the study were to find out if schools had written health education policy; to investigate the impact of policy development on health education; and to identify any potential barriers which might impede the successful implementation of school health education programmes within the curriculum.
