Abstract

Objective To observe the health education effect for calculus prevention with lithangiuria component analysis.Methods We analyzed the lithangiuria component from 788 patients after operation in past 2 years.The health education of calculus prevention was guided in experimental group for 416 patients with lithangiuria component analysis.372 patients were not guided for calculus prevention in control group.Results After health education the patients of two groups were compared with the following indexes:daily water intake,diet,exercise,weight control and prevention,regular review of compliance in the experimental group were:98.80%,96.63%,93.26%,95.67%,97.83%,those in control group were:72.04%,65.05%,52.69%,77.42%,72.04%,there was statistical significant difference between two groups (P < 0.05).We compared the rate of patients in the two groups:the experimental group stone recurrence for the first half of the 4.56%,one year was 10.10%,the control group was 13.44%,the first half of year 27.96%,there was significant difference between two groups (P < 0.05).Conclusion The analysis to the lithangiuria component of patients,can improve the effectiveness of health education,to guide patients to correctly grasp the health knowledge to prevent stone recurrence,and enhance the compliance behavior of patients,consciously cultivate a healthy lifestyle and habits,effectively reduce the occurrence and recurrence of urinary calculi.It is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
