Abstract
The 2021 American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) annual meeting featured a variety of talks and posters involving diversity and health disparities. We at Arthroplasty Today believe this is important work for the growth of our field, and like the editorial team of Journal of Arthroplasty, we support the increase in interest in these topics [1]. By having an active approach to including these issues in hip and knee arthroplasty research projects, we as surgeons will be better able to help all patients achieve optimal outcomes.
