Abstract

Dysfibrinogenemia is a hematological disorder resulting from a decreased or abnormal level of fibrinogen. We describe a child previously diagnosed with a case of hypofibrinogenemia, whose fundus evaluation revealed evidence of old retinal vasculitis. We describe the need for awareness and timely screening amongst ophthalmologists to prevent visually disabling outcomes.
