Abstract

Introduction cable to contact networks as well as gate-type networks, only the gate-type networks will be considered in detail. Whenever the input signals of a combinational or iiquential switching circuit are changed, the output signals are predicted by the truth table or flow table to behave in a certain manner. If it is possible for the output signals to behave in a different manner than predicted, the circuit issaid,to contain a hazard for that input transition. The object of this paper is to present a new technique for determining whether or not a switching circuit contains a hazard.
