Abstract

Applying Parikh–Wilzcek's semi-classical quantumtunneling model, we study the Hawking radiation of charged particles astunneling from the event horizon of a cylindrically symmetric black hole inanti-de Sitter space-time. The derived result shows that the tunneling rateof charged particles is related to the change ofBekenstein–Hawking entropy and that the radiation spectrum is notstrictly pure thermal after taking the black hole background dynamicaland self-gravitation interaction into account, but is consistentwith the underlying unitary theory.
