Abstract

Hawatides A–G (1–7), seven highly oxygenated polyketides were isolated from the deep-sea-derived fungus Paraconiothyrium hawaiiense FS482. Their structures and absolute configurations were elucidated through comprehensive spectroscopic analyses, single-crystal X-ray diffraction experiments and electronic circular dichroism (ECD) calculations. Hawatide D (4) exhibited moderate NO production inhibitory activity and weak cytotoxicity against human tumor cell lines SF-268, MCD-7, HepG-2 and A549.
