Abstract
The concept of psychological capital is used for purposes such as ensuring sustainability and gaining competitive advantage for businesses. The first aim of the study is to determine the relationship between the level of psychological capital and workplace happiness level of employees at the airport. The second aim is to reveal whether there is an effect of psychological capital level on workplace happiness level. The third aim is revealing whether there are differences between mean of psychological capital according to demographic characteristics. In the study, the relationship between the psychological capital level of the participants and workplace happiness, how they vary according to age, gender, marital status, educational status, seniority in the workplace and occupation characteristics were explained statistically. As a result, the relationship between the psychological capital level and workplace happiness was determined. Also, the effect of psychological capital level on workplace happiness level was found. It will contribute to the literature as the first study on this subject for airport personnel in Turkey.
