Abstract
It is a yearly challenge to select 3 award-winning articles. Each of this year’s honor recipients must have been published in the Journal from July 2012 through June 2013, have a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) as lead author, and epitomize scholarly excellence in a key area of our discipline. As in past years, your president, your editor, and the prior year’s awardees shared the challenge of identifying the honorees.
