Abstract

We update our previous Hartree calculation of magnetic fields induced by a point charge above a plane of anyons, extending the calculation to larger values of the background dielectric constant, which are more appropriate in the context of the muon-spin-relaxation experiments in high-temperature superconductors. We find that the resulting change in magnetic-field estimates is modest, and does not substantially alter the conclusions we have previously reached.
