Abstract

We present a novel, to the best of our knowledge, approach for reconstructing wavefronts from hartmanngrams, eliminating the need for precise hole position information. This technique utilizes both intra- and extrafocal hartmanngrams to assign a set of direction cosines to each ray. By employing these direction cosines and a ray tracing optimization process, the wavefront can be effectively recovered. The methodology will be outlined, the Hartmann test using two kinds of screens will be simulated, and the results obtained will be discussed.
