Abstract

The life of Harriet Thiselton-Dyer (1854–1945) is described briefly and her botanical paintings and contributions to Curtis's Botanical Magazine are assessed. As grand-daughter, daughter and wife of three directors of Kew, who were also editors of this magazine, her supportive rôle deserves more recognition.
