Abstract

Drug Delivery With the advantages of specificity and potency, a tremendous amount of effort has been spent on the discovery of biomacromolecular drug candidates. Among the therapeutic targets that these novel drug candidates are intended for, many occur within intracellular locations through key protein–protein interactions. Novel advanced delivery technologies incorporating various types of materials such as lipids, polymers, and peptides have been developed into nanoparticles using innovative molecular engineering for this purpose. These are reviewed in article number 2102600 by Yu Tian, Matthew V. Tirrell, and James L. LaBelle.
