Abstract
In Pump Industry Analyst, June 1996, the article entitled ‘Sources of Information’ referred to the availability of production statistics for pump manufacture by country. Good quality production statistics are the basic source of information on the pump industry. They are available generally for EU members and the USA but are of mixed quality at present. EUROPUMP and the Hydraulic Institute (HI) wish to correct this state of affairs by working together to harmonise data formats.
