Abstract

in this time, wind energy generation technology has been grown rapidly. With the corporation of Wind farms together with the help of the electrical grid, it is important for the system handler to know about the behavior and performance of the wind farm in all conditions. In a power system, there are many areas of interest such as wind speed calculation, modeling, control, and stability analysis of wind energy systems connected with the electric grid. In this research paper we reduce the harmonics in wind farm integration with the grid by using the UPFC method due to this we also increase system stability. In which we use a 20 MW wind farm connected to the grid and this all simulation is done by using MATLAB/SIMULINK.
