Abstract

The article deals with the problems of tonal compatibility in the mixing of tracks by DJs. The accuracy of determining the tonality of tracks by computer programs is investigated. A number of examples of the mixing of pairs of tracks with harmonious tonalities has been practically analyzed. The possible disharmonic overlaps are revealed, and the variants to prevent the dissonant sounds during mixing are proposed. The technique of mixing with the use of transposition is considered. The evaluation of the specialized notation of the tonalities is given. The main conclusions and recommendations are given in the conclusion of the article
