Abstract

The presence of nonlinear devices and loads on a spacecraft power system will introduce nonsinusoidal currents into the system. To fully explore the effects that these nonlinear devices can have on a spacecraft power system an easily implementable yet accurate device modeling algorithm must be used. This paper presents the harmonic modeling algorithm that has been developed for the spacecraft power system. It will also discuss the applications for this modeling algorithm in spacecraft power system management programs such as harmonic power flow analysis packages.
