Abstract

For exploring and testing the key technology of high-speed maglev transportation operation control system and propulsion control system, this paper designed and established a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation system for the high-speed maglev transportation system. The HIL simulation system is composed of real control system, peripheral environment simulation and a test management platform. In this system, the operation control system and propulsion control system use real hardware and software in operation. Control objects such as peripheral environment are generated by simulation equipment, including tracks and switches, linear motor, propulsion converters, trains, trackside equipment etc. Test management platform mainly integrates the function of all the simulation equipment through condition monitoring, parameter setting and fault injection, test case management and executive. The HIL simulation system can simulate various operation conditions of long distance maglev line. Through this HIL simulation system, it can test and verify the operation control system and propulsion control system developed recently. Parts of the test in this system have been done based on data of Shanghai maglev line.
