Abstract

In order to monitor the mechanical structure status of high-voltage vacuum circuit breakers in real time and diagnose faults online, a hardware design scheme of an online monitoring device for 10kV vacuum circuit breakers is proposed in this paper. From the perspective of practical application, this design scheme fully considers the practical working conditions of the monitoring device. The device not only monitors the mechanical vibration of the circuit breaker, the rotation stroke of the spindle and the position signal of the mechanical switch, but also monitors both the voltage and current of the opening (closing) coil, the energy storage motor and the closing lock coil. In this paper, in order to adapt the monitoring device to the actual application conditions, a modular design is adopted, the isolation and protection performance of the ports is strengthened and the integration degree of the device is increased.
