Abstract

1. The addition of vanadium and titanium favors greater explosive hardening of steel 110G13L. 2. The depth of hardening decreases with increasing alloying of the matrix and with increasing numbers of hard dispersed particles formed after alloying with vanadium and titanium, which is due to greater scattering of the energy and the shock wave as it passes into the depth of the metal.
