Abstract

Semi-exclusive measurements of high energy photons (${\mathit{E}}_{\ensuremath{\gamma}}$\ensuremath{\ge}30 MeV) cross sections from the $^{129}\mathrm{Xe}$${+}^{197}$Au reaction at 44 MeV/nucleon are analyzed in the framework of the Boltzmann-Nordheim-Vlasov equation with an appropriate semiclassical \ensuremath{\gamma}-production probability for the np\ensuremath{\rightarrow}n'p'\ensuremath{\gamma} elementary process. A detailed analysis on the impact parameter dependence of the \ensuremath{\gamma}-ray multiplicity and slope of the energy spectrum is also reported.
