Abstract
<p class="Abstract"><em>One of the application-based motorcycle taxis available in Indonesia is Grab. Using the 'expectancy violation theory', this qualitative research with in-depth interview method aims to find out the hidden meaning, to understand social interactions related to satisfaction in interpersonal communication in GrabBike service from Grab in Yogyakarta</em><em> </em><em>between the drivers and the customers</em><em>. The results of the study indicate that communication is needed between drivers and </em><em>customers</em><em> to be able to find out the position of both. Interpersonal communication is a communication process between the communicant and the communicator which is characterized by the realization of mutual understanding, pleasure, mutual influence, good social relations, as well as real action as feedback. communication is expected to reduce the adverse effects that arise on the group related to job burnout</em><em></em></p>
