Hantzsch synthesis of bis(1,4-dihydropyridines) and bis(tetrahydrodipyrazolo[3,4-b:4′,3′-e]pyridines) linked to pyrazole units as novel hybrid molecules

Abstract

A novel series of bis(1,4-dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarbonitrile) and bis(tetrahydrodipyrazolo[3,4-b:4′,3′-e]pyridine) derivatives which are linked to pyrazole units were prepared via Hantzsch like reaction of the bis-aldehydes with the respective 3-aminocrotonitrile and pyrazolone derivatives.
