Abstract

Introduction: Robotic technology improves the ability of hepatobiliary surgeons to apply open techniques to minimally invasive hepatectomy. The “hanging maneuver” is used to ensure precise parenchymal transection during major hepatectomy and avoid major hepatic venous injury.
