Abstract
This article describes the development and implementation of an innovative partnership with the local chapter of the American Red Cross to deliver Hands-Only CPR classes. Nursing students who were candidates for induction into Alpha Delta Nu became American Red Cross volunteers and underwent training to become certified as Hands-Only CPR instructors. Over 7 weeks, 16 students each taught at least one class in the community, reaching a total of 228 persons.
