This is certainly the briefest of the new books on pediatric cardiology and also the best suited to serve as an introduction to the subject for medical students, general practitioners, and pediatricians. The authors, each very well qualified and each with a different special interest, provide a very well balanced text. The book is divided into two parts with part 1 concerned with general considerations.
