Abstract

Results of Hall effect and thermoelectric power (TEP) measurements on sintered samples of Y 0.9Ca 0.1Ba 2Cu 3O 7−δ (Ca 0.1YBCO) are presented, and compared to previous data for sintered samples of YBa 2Cu 3O 7−δ (YBCO) [1] and Y xCa 1−xSr 2(Tl 0.5Pb 0.5)Cu 2O 7 (Tl-1212) [2]. Results indicate that calcium substitution in YBCO 7−δ does not dope holes uniformly for all values of δ.
