Abstract
In magnetization and transport measurements on single crystals of as-grown Pr 2−xCe xCuO 4, we have found that the temperature dependence of the Hall coefficient and Hall mobility is strongly related to the onset of antiferromagnetic order at the Cu sites in the CuO 2 planes (below T Neel ) and to the appearance of a weak induced moment on the Pr sites. We present here our results for Pr 1.92Ce 0.08CuO 4 ( T Neel = 170 K).
