Abstract

The Hall coefficient (HC) of the persistent photoconductor Al 0.3Ga 0.7As:Si has been measured near the metal-insulator transition (MIT) critical point. The temperature dependence of the HC was weak even in the vicinity of the MIT critical point and no divergence of the HC was observed at the transition tuned by both the effective electron concentration and the magnetic field.
