Abstract

The steady MHD fluid flow of an incompressible electrically conducting fluid along an semi-infinite vertical porous plate under strong transverse magnetic field with rotation is considered. The system rotates about an axis normal to plane of the plate with a angular velocity. The governing partial non-linear coupled equations are considered. A similarity transformations have been used to obtain the nonlinear coupled ordinary differential equations from the above mentioned governing equations. The momentum and energy equations are solved by using perturbation technique. The obtained results of velocity and temperature distributions are shown graphically. Finally, the comparison of our results and the published results are shown graphically.
