Abstract
The distorted-wave Born approximation (DWBA) method is used tocalculate the half-lives of spherical proton emitters. Thecalculated results are in agreement with the experimental data. Thesensitivity of the half-lives to the depth of central potentialV0 is investigated by using the DWBA method. The half-lives ofspherical proton emitters are insensitive to the detail of theirnuclear potential.
