Abstract
Nearly half of Americans support mental health assessments for gun ownership, according to a new survey released Aug. 9 by Online‐therapy.com. The survey was administered by online survey platform Pollfish on May 6 and surveyed 1,250 Americans ages 18 and older regarding their opinions on federal laws requiring mental health evaluations for gun owners, their political affiliation and whether they themselves owned guns.
