Abstract
The γ-ray intensity per decay was evaluated from the disintegration rate, as measured with a 4 πβ- γ coincidence apparatus, and the γ-ray intensity, as determined by means of the scintillators forming the apparatus. The intensities per decay of 86 Rb 1077 keV γ-rays and 103 Ru 497 keV γ-rays were 8.64 ±0.04 and 91.08±0.76% respectively. The half-lives were determined from the long-term measurement of the disintegration rate; the values were 18.631 ± 0.018 and 39.214 ± 0.013 day for 86 Rb and 103 Ru respectively.
