Abstract

The article discusses the author's perceptions of the continued assistance needed from foreign health professionals by the nation of Haiti since the earthquake of January 2010. Human resource needs for health care in Haiti are emphasized, noting the meager funding that Haiti allocated for health care and medical staff even before the earthquake.
