Abstract
The easiest proof of the Hahn decomposition theorem for signed measure spaces is Hahn’s own proof, yet it has been forgotten. This note aims to redress that and also aims to draw attention to some facts about the Radon–Nikodym theorem and the Lebesgue decomposition theorem that should be better known than they are.
