Hadroproduction of High-Transverse-Momentum B c mesons within the k T -Factorization approach

Abstract

With the kT-factorization approach, the transverse-momentum spectra of Bc mesons at the energies of the Tevatron and LHC hadron colliders are calculated on the basis of the fusion and fragmentation models. In the fusion model, the calculations are performed under the assumption of charm excitation in the proton.
