Abstract
An attempt to correlate the data on multiple production both in the accelerator region and in the region of ultrahigh energies within a unique picture, based on the quark-gluon model of the hadron, suggests the conclusion that quarks are composite objects. In accordance with this conclusion surprising effects, recently discovered at ultrahigh energies, manifest themselves owing to the transition over the energy threshold caused by the intrinsic structure of quarks. The objects arising in this energy region, quark clusters, are analysed within the thermodynamical model the authors have proposed earlier. The estimates obtained do not contradict the experiment.
