Abstract
Physics at the COoler SYnchrotron and storage ring COSY focus on studies of aspects of QCD in the nonperturbative regime. Hadron structure and dynamics in the production and decay of light hadrons or hadronic resonances, and the fate of fundamental symmetries and symmetry breaking patterns in hadronic systems are the key issues within the physics program.Recent experimental results — with a main emphasis on the strangeness degree of freedom — obtained at the internal and external facilities are presented.
