Abstract

We give conditions ensuring that a fractional Hadamard power of an inverse $M$-matrix is still an inverse $M$-matrix. We also study the invariance of this class of matrices under other Hadamard functions, in particular the exponential function. This invariance property is also studied for the classes of potential and bipotential matrices.
